If you've found this page, thank you for checking it out! This is a brief summary of my current
area of expertise/experience. I'm just another programmer that wants to make a change in his field, in any way that I can.

More about me
Hello again!
I made this website to get more familiar with building a portfolio on my own but also as a way to keep an online record of myself, pretty neat! Over the years I've learned a lot about myself and gained new interests, while even developing my old ones too. I had the chance to meet an amazing, supportive woman I get to call my wife and our two cats, Yoshi and Tulip are the best parts of my life that I'm beyond lucky to have.
Recently been obsessed with baking and I love learning new things--especially finding projects to improve around the house!

Online presence
In my early teen years, I was more than aware of online culture and actively watched content from various creators.
I was inspired! And I felt I could even achieve that too so I started a YouTube channel and would regularly find games to
commentate over...
Games any teenager in the early 2010s could play, then in around 2014 I found Twitch.tv. IMMEDIATELY started streaming and eventually even gained Affiliate status streaming games like Rocket League or speedrunning Super Mario 64.
At some point, I was consistently making about $400/month streaming during 2019-2021!

Games that I put too much time in
I grew up playing video games! It's a big part of my life that I hold dear to me in many ways as I've gotten older.
I'd always enjoyed practicing and getting better, eventually finding myself as the "Wow man, you should try playing competitively". In college, I found myself trying out for the starting roster of our Collegiate Rocket League team. Being in the team, I got my first taste of competitive play and practicing. After I moved on from the team, I got into competitive Smash Bros (yes, the one for the GameCube).
It's something that I've found exciting and fun to be a part of a community that has been generally positive and including of everyone around me.

Something I would like to spend more time in
Ironically, what first drove me to programming was my passion for playing games. My 5th grade teacher, Ms. Miller, convinced
me to pursue a career in Video Game Development. I learned what coding was capable of becoming and I always leaned towards
that part of the professional world.
Starting my undergrad CS program, I didn't know what aspect of Computer Science to pursue. At some point I even considered joining the Navy to get into Cyber Security. I eventually ended up in a hospital environment where I became aclimated very quickly and enjoyed the pace of work. I found out about the world of Healthcare Integration and really enjoyed that it blends into IT (utilizing aspects of Server/ Network) and its own use of programming.
